[edit]As this appears to be a mostly Canadian production, but shown as a "UK/Canadian production", and a series rather than a program, I think that its title should be Breakout (Canadian TV series) or Breakout (Canadian/UK TV series) or Breakout (National Geographic TV series). Suggest move and redirect. Any opinions on best title? Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:29, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Think you are right that "series" is better than "program", but unless there are other series named Breakout I suggest to just use "Breakout (TV series)" without any national attribution in the title. In other places the year of publication was added to achieve a unique title as the year is futureproof against another series even from the same origin. So maybe "Breakout (TV series, 2010, 2013)" makes sense ? JB. --92.193.183.212 (talk) 15:36, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
- Since this discussion, someone else has renamed it as "Canadian TV program", which is close enough, I guess. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 01:33, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
- Doesn't cut it at all if you consider the points I made earlier, but "Who cares, right ?" ... JB. --92.193.170.162 (talk) 20:39, 1 March 2020 (UTC)

Notability
[edit]I removed the notability template as it seems to me that this series is notable largely because of the real-life escapes that it portrays. It could do with more non-primary links though, to the people and events dramatised in each episode, and also additional info on those pages linking back to this one. I started doing it with a couple but don't have the time to do a thorough job now, so I'm hoping someone else may be interested enough to do a proper job.
