Charles Ives
[edit]American composer uses this tune as one of his musical borrowings in his first sonata for piano. http://www.musicweb-international.com/Ives/WK_Piano_Sonata_1.htm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.202.183.177 (talk) 05:05, 3 October 2013 (UTC)
Title is wrong
[edit]It should be Bringing In the Sheaves, as in the article. In is an adverb here, not a preposition. 193.91.181.142 (talk) 12:55, 3 September 2009 (UTC) (Nick)

F Troop
[edit]The song was also sung in an episode of F Troop, led by Sgt. O'Rourke as part of a faux temperance demonstration. This is an anachronism, as F Troop was set in the mid/late 1860s, before the song was composed in 1874, or its melody of 1880. 108.1.70.242 (talk) 20:26, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
