Proposed merge with ID Mobile

Permission to link to CKH website

The [1]copyright policy on CK Hutchinson's website includes the following text -

   No person, whether an individual or a body corporate, shall create or establish a hyperlink to the CK Hutchison Corporate Website by hypertext reference or imaging without the written permission of CK Hutchison.

This does suggest a few questions -

1) What is the process for wikipedia to obtain such written permission?

2) How is the grant of permission documented/recorded within wikipedia ?

3) Is such a grant of permission compatible with how wikipedia's own licence in terms of downstream usage ?

Finally, if wikipedia doesn't have written permission in this case then shouldn't any links on the page be removed ? Vgyuhbww (talk) 17:50, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
