Order of Sections
[edit]I just shifted the 'Compilations' and 'Live albums' sections up to just below the 'Studio albums' section to be consistent with the main Cake article, and because I think that's a more accurate order of 'importance' maybe... Catalina 123 (talk) 16:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)
Cake Cover of 'Panama' in Diary of a Wimpy Kid
[edit]It was mentioned that Cake recorded a cover of Van Halen's "Panama" for the Diary of a Wimpy Kid soundtrack. There is no other source to back this up, nor does the song appear to be part of the soundtrack listings on various web sites. The statement regarding the song should remain deleted until solid sources can back up or point to the existence of this track. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.219.11.35 (talk) 04:42, 7 August 2010 (UTC)
Dead external links to Allmusic website – January 2011
[edit]Since Allmusic have changed the syntax of their URLs, 1 link(s) used in the article do not work anymore and can't be migrated automatically. Please use the search option on http://www.allmusic.com to find the new location of the linked Allmusic article(s) and fix the link(s) accordingly, prefereably by using the {{Allmusic}} template. First EP
[edit]The first EP was not Is This Love in 1991, but was recorded in several locations in Early 1992, and released in May 1992. It was a four-song cassette with Jolene (Live at Old Ironsides, with Overdubs), Ruby Seas (recorded in Mark Pollock's backyard, with overdubs), Stickshifts (recorded at CAKE's rehearsal space, with overdubs), and Shadow Stabbing (Recorded at SacRocks, a public cable tv show, no overdubs). All the songs featured John, Greg, Frank, Shon, and Vince, except Shadow Stabbing, which featured Gabe on bass in one of his first practice sessions.
The cassette came in a standard case with a blue insert featuring the Stamen Music mariachi guy.
The citations for this would be my (Mark Pollock) tape collection, including the original master mixdown tapes. Mutantmoose (talk) 16:25, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
