[edit]I edited the article last night because it contained many statements that have not been investigated yet. The article made it sound like calgranulin deficiency is found in all stone formers, even though I don't think that there's any evidence that stone formers tend to have calgranulin deficiency. In addition, it is not just formed in the kidney. Also, saying that calgranulin is an inhibitor of CaOx stone formation is unverified. The only real paper discussing calgranulin's effects on CaOx precipitation was the one cited, but their study was in vitro and the amount of calgranulin they added to the solution was lower than physiological concentrations. Thus, there was no evidence to support most of the content of the article so I rewrote it based on the evidence presented in that citation.--Nibblesnbits 17:12, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
