I think people need to stop gearing this page as if Californians are yet another pet breed. They're not. They're bred and raised as a meat rabbit, and are one of the absolute best commercial breeds America has to offer to that end. People eat rabbits. Get over it. Be More Specific to the Californian Breed

There's nice information here that applies to all domestic rabbits, and that info should be in other articles. What I see here lacks a great deal of information specifically about the Californian.
