Quality problems
[edit]How do you mention quality problems with the minting of Canadian silver maple coins and just RCM silver coins in general? They are notorious for white milk spots. I collect hundreds of 1oz silver coins and the only coins that have this problem is RCM and the Austrian mint.

Issue prices
[edit]Are the issue prices listed in the table in Canadian or US dollars? This is after all, the English-language Wikipedia, not the US Wikipedia. We shouldn't leave things like this ambiguous. 75.76.213.106 (talk) 21:30, 4 October 2010 (UTC)
In my opinion prices should be listed in CAD - prices from Royal Canadiam Mint, who is issuer, link: mint.ca. No matter which "language" Wikipedia it is... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ralski (talk • contribs) 08:07, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
Hologram Maple Leafs
[edit]In my opinion only Hologram Maple Leafs till 2005 are real Maple Leafs. Only those do have 5 CAD value and written "FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR" - as was written at the beginning of the article. The other "Maple Leafs" - are not stricte Maple Leafs, for example from 2011 the face value was 15 CAD, and there was no "FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR". But I will not change anything till other people say something about the question. Earlier coins (after 2005) were not 9999 silver, and face value was not 5 CAD. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 5.185.13.153 (talk) 13:56, 3 May 2014 (UTC)
Alphonse Desjardins - coin from 2004
[edit]Can somebody inform us why was the name of Desjardins - written at coin - changed for Jardinieres??? I just corrected it back. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 164.127.222.180 (talk) 00:26, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
Ketchup Spots
[edit]There are ketchup spots on at least one of my coins. Is this a known phenomenon (alike the more famous milk spots), and should it be mentioned in the article? No More 18 (talk) 00:52, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
Mintage (all uncirculated bulk coins) - Reference Error
[edit]Disregard all that follows. I was able to fix my own screw-up. Anyone with delete permissions, feel free to delete this section.
__________________________________________________________________________
I researched the 2014 SML Bullion production figure, and added it. But, somehow, I managed to screw up the Reference Section. All the references are now at the bottom of the page and not in the References Section.
Would someone with more experience mind fixing my error. If you'll get the References back where they belong, I will come back later and add the reference PROPERLY for the 2014 bullion production number.
I apologize, I am new at this. Cautery (talk) 05:28, 29 May 2015 (UTC)
Maple Leafs heavier than 1,5 oz., 0,75 oz. and 1,25 oz.
[edit]I just noticed that somebody cut off all the Maple Leafs, which are heavier than 1,5 oz. (I mean 5 oz. and 10 oz.) Why? In the subject Golden Maple Leafs are described the biggest ever coins. Why not here Silver Maple Leafs?
And what about the new coins 1.25 oz. (bisons) and 0,75 oz. (wolfs)? The coins are "nature related" too!
I hate to add something, when next somebody - without saying anything - just cuts off whatever he/she likes... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ralski (talk • contribs) 22:25, 3 September 2016 (UTC)

Misleading
[edit]The 2003 1⁄20 oz Canada hologram Maple Leaf is worth $1.00 not $5.00. [1] There is also a 2004 dated Maple Leaf coin. [2]. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:34, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
Silver bullion coins
[edit]The following is a list of all the silver bullion coins made by Canada up until 2014. I say this because... what is considered to be a "Maple Leaf" versus what isn't in this category? If we are talking about sets, as I pointed out above there are Maple leaf coins worth less than $5.00 and those worth more (with a maple leaf design) below. - Knowledgekid87 (talk) 17:59, 20 October 2024 (UTC)
