School Mascot
[edit]I'm finding something fishy about this:
"The official masoct of Cape Elizibeth high school is the "Cape Elizibeth Fairy". The Mascot is depicted as being a small, girlish, fairy-boy, complete with wand and fairy-flute in hand. The students of Cape Elizibeth High School have always been full of school spirit, dressing up and acting like their beloved mascot, even when not at a school game."
Is there anybody here that goes to this school and can affirm whether this actually happens? I'd delete it outright, but on the off-hand chance that it is true...(it is the States, after all :P)The Last Melon 02:40, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Kind of funny but, of course, complete vandalism. The unofficial mascot is the Cape Elizabeth Caper. 68.143.69.231 14:05, 7 August 2007 (UTC) (CEHS Class of 2000)
Vandalism
[edit]I'm starting to think this page has been vandalized. Some help? The Last Melon 02:47, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
Confirmation of Vandalism
[edit]As an alumnus of this school, I can confirm that the "Cape Elizabeth Fairy" is a complete fabrication. Such a thing never existed and, hopefully with the grace of God, never will exist. I don't even believe that Cape had a mascot to begin with for some reason, although some of their teams are named the "Capers" and "Lady Capers". Naturally, I Recommend the removal of this edit immediately before more people are mislead. What a crock of BS...
Page Needs Work
[edit]"It is Maine's best community"... I laughed and agreed but this statement definitely doesn't belong here. This page needs to get more or all of its verbiage from the official website. I'm a graduate myself, but I'm going to leave it to an active member of CEHS to fix it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.96.176.196 (talk) 15:32, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Basic Edits
[edit]Took out some but not all unreasonable or unverifiable statements. Reorganized categories for a more in depth description of the school. Could use more info, but as a 2004 graduate I don't have the most recent info to add.Nickline4 (talk) 01:14, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
