Name[edit]

Should we move this article to "Capitol hill babysitting co-op," because it's consistent with U.S. spelling conventions and Wikipedia's capitalization policy?--Dark Charles (talk) 21:42, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Photo credit[edit]

A note on the photos and photo credits – I found the photos in "The Capitol Hill Babysitting Coop: Celebrating its 50th Year of Community Childcare", and asked Rudi Schreiber (at the time of the article president of the co-op) for permissions to the photos, which he, or rather his wife, Susan Hormuth (at the time “first lady/first family”), who had taken the photos, kindly granted. I was given to believe that they preferred visible attribution, rather than the discreet “only on the photo page itself” that is often found on Wikipedia, hence why the photos are credited. As Susan actually is relevant to the co-op (as noted, being quite involved), I assume this isn’t a problem, but wanted to explain the reasoning.

Extensive Krugman references[edit]

A note on the extensive Krugman references (e.g., as in this edit); I think them valuable for two reasons – firstly, because Krugman gives different details in different ones (e.g., the technical note of a one-good economy), and secondly, because these occur over a number of years (the 15-year span 1994–2009 so far), they can reflect change or constancy in Krugman’s interpretation (and in critiques, notably Austrian), and thus have scholarly interest. Hope y’all find the bibliography valuable!

Sorry, didn't make myself clear - I was suggesting that the Capitol Hill Babysitting Co-op (and academic interest in it) inspired the comedy.
