Two former targets[edit]

I have undone two piped links for different reasons.

The first article section uses an image with caption "Dutch medal of the Carnegie Hero Fund" which reveals that the target article needs to be rewritten to identify or distinguish the medals awarded by Carnegie Hero Funds in different countries.

"Medal" does not appear in the article, not to mention the section dedicated to this section. --P64 (talk) 23:05, 18 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation[edit]

Since there is more than one Carnegie Medal award, I'm changing this to "Carnegie Medal in Literature" and initiating a disambiguation page. --UnicornTapestry (talk) 20:36, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agreed, this clearly should be a disamb page due to the multiple medals named "Carnegie Medal". FieldMarine (talk) 14:01, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I've tagged this for G6 speedy deletion because it duplicates Carnegie Medal (disambiguation), which is better IMO. HueSatLum 14:57, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disagree with the deletion unless the page at Carnegie Medal (disambiguation) is then moved to this page upon deletion. This pages needs to be the disambiguation page. Otherwise, it's too confusing. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 15:11, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's what I meant. There's no need for two nearly identical disambiguation pages. HueSatLum 15:17, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Then I support the deletion & believe the following move of the other page to this one is right course for improvement. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 15:28, 25 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Recreated talk page[edit]

Recreated this talk page after Disamb was reestablished. Moved content related to discussion on this this Disamb article to this talk page. Semper Fi! FieldMarine (talk) 13:57, 24 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
