Leonidas remark

The remark about Leonidas ignoring the Spartan "prophets" and going to war seems inaccurate. 'An important Spartan battle, the Battle of Thermopylae took place during the Carnea. Leonidas ignored the words of the Spartan prophets and went to battle, against the belief that he should wait until after the Carnea.' Where does it claim that the oracles had anything to do with the number of spartans he took?
