The name[edit]

Why is the article under the "Casey" name? She cearly stated in an episode the "Casey" name is a result of the first letter of forename and surname (KC) resulting in it sounding like "Casey", but quoted her real name as being that mentioned in the article. I understand a solid reference would be desirable to prove that, but feel some are unaware of that actual statement made some weeks back. Bungle44 13:26, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I can remember it was "Kim Carswell" not Casey Carswell--Ant parker 03:32, 22 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • The article is under "Casey" for the same reason that the article Fiz Brown is under that name and not Fiona Brown. WP:COMMONNAME states that the most widely recognised name for a subject should be used. The character is credited as Casey in the show's end titles and there's only ever been that one throw-away reference to her real forename, hence Casey is the name we use on WP..... • I'm not disputing that, hence I have stopped renaming the article/template some time back because of wider recognition. Bungle44 14:05, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite needed[edit]

A rewrite of the recent plot section is needed. It must be cut down and put into proper and easy to read English. 81.153.107.190 20:17, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've made a start on improving the overall quality of spelling, grammar and general layout, although at this point improvements still need to be made in these areas. Bungle (talkcontribs) 21:09, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Casey Carswell.jpg[edit]

Image:Casey Carswell.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
