Proof for the timeline

Those looking for proof that games under canonical timeline are canonical or not go to Castlevania article on wikipedia. In the plot section of the article read the 4th paragraph of Castlevania 20th anniversary edition carefully which says that Konami released a timeline along with it which "officialy" confirms which games up to 2006 (only up to 2006) are canon or not. Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate

Why is Mirror of fate being redirected to the Lords of shadow article when it has it's own article? Also the game has four separate stories set in 4 different years. Gabriel's story in 1046, Trevor's story in 1073, simon's story in 1101 and Alucard's is not known although it is after 1101. TransVannian (talk) 08:21, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Correction both Alucard and Simon's story takes place in 1101. TransVannian (talk) 18:52, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Found official source for alternate timeline

Hello people. This is to inform you that I've found a real legitmate source for the pachislot timeline. Although it is in Japanese. This is because the pachislot games were only released in Japan but wikipedia policies allow it. The developers of the game KPE(Konami Parlor Entertainment) confirmed it in their official blog. However I'm not posting it here right now but don't worry I won't edit the template again and insert this link without solving this situation with IP adress who was continously reverting mine and other's edits. I request you all including the IP adress to respect my decision and not edit this article before this situation is solved otherwise next time this template might be locked permanently. Therefore please let this situation resolve first. TransVannian (talk) 21:02, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Now since the template is unlocked I'll mention the official source. Here it is(http://www.kpenet.jp/kpe_ad/dracula_Blog.html#blog120228). The blog link is of 28 Feb 2012. The blog is quite long and it is really difficult to find the part that mentions pachislot games are alternate side stories. So I am posting it here.

「悪魔城ドラキュラ 闇の呪印」が元となっています (Pachislot Akumajo Dracula is based on Curse of Darkness). ラルフ側から見たもうひとつの物語が、 パチスロ版の悪魔城ドラキュラI・Ⅱのストーリーとなっています (Pachislot Akumajo Dracula I&II story is "another story" from Ralph's perspective).

Another story is actually the english translation for the word "gaiden", if you don't believe me then search the word on Wikipedia where it's meaning is given as "side story" which also means an alternate story which is not canon for example Resident evil gaiden.

Just press ctrl+f and copy and paste any of the japanese sentences I've written here in the search box that pops up. You will be directed to that japanese sentence. Then translate the page when google asks if you want to translate the page to english. You will find that the translation is correct. Actually the translation I've provided here is much more correct since google will provide a very broken translation. Credit for this goes to babylon translator and user Nagumo baby from castlevania wiki. I know thia process is cubersome but still confirms my statement's validity and the source is official. I want to add this source to template but first I'll like to discuss with other editors. TransVannian (talk) 18:37, 16 March 2013 (UTC)

Yes you're right. The blog does indeed say that it is another story from Ralph's(Trevor Belmont) perspective and you're right about the definition of the gaiden too. I thought of removing the alternate timeline but since the official source confirms that it's really set in an alternate universe I won't now. However I've added a newer timeline which was made by Konami in 2007 and removed the games which are not mentioned in it. I also removed the radio drama and novel since their canonicity has never been confirmed or denied. KahnJohn27 (talk) 04:52, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Don't worry it isnt a problem. At least you notified instead of straight away reverting my edits. If you want to remove them then you can. TransVannian (talk) 05:10, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
