Are we sure this is accurate? From what I've heard, 35MM film tends to be, at most 4k, and modern film scanners can work in 4k, and some go up to 8k. "current standards do not allow for scanning at sufficient resolutions to produce a copy of the same picture and sound quality as the original." Bumblebritches57 (talk) 20:07, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
