The definitions

[edit]

1. Central Eurasia = Central Asia

Then what's the point?

2. Central Eurasia = The Caucasus region, spreading through parts of Russia, down through the Caspian Sea and into Iran and Central Asia

Who says this? This one needs a citation.--Mttll (talk) 15:57, 4 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Central Eurasia is wider than Central Asia.--Babakexorramdin (talk) 01:54, 5 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can you show me a map of the second definition?--Mttll (talk) 16:59, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

there is no first or second definition. There are parts of the region--Babakexorramdin (talk) 05:09, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What? This is a disambiguation article. It doesn't say "Central Eurasia is the region consisting of ...", it says "Central Eurasia may refer to ...". The implicit meaning of that is: it may refer to either of the enumerated options, not all at once combined. If the intented meaning is the region comprising these subregions, the article needs to be rephrased completely and get rid of the disambig template. The article currently says that Central Eurasia is either Central Asia, or the Caucasus, or a collection of East European countries with non-IE majority languages. Neither of these make much sense to me. --88.73.5.203 (talk) 06:42, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
