Falling out with the KKK[edit]

I'm not sure the discussion in the article accurately depicts Stapleton's falling out with the KKK reading the source. The tone of the article makes it sound like BFS turned a new leaf and became some champion of African American rights. In the source it sounds more like he got defiantly fed up with living under the Klan's thumb, the Colorado Klan itself was dissolving and he casually walked away from the org. Article also notes that he "undermined" Klan control of the police, but fails to mention he was the one who appointed a Klan member as chief of police? And this "ubdermining" was basically firing that guy and his cronies. KahlilB (talk) 22:48, 30 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
