Hi there,

I see this article has been marked for deletion on account of being promotional and/or copyright infringement. As this subject is mentioned on a number of wiki articles (such as Christopher Pissarides), might I ask for more time to work on this article?

In this instance, the material marked as copyrighted is from a press release on the subject's website, and as such is public domain. However, my intention is to broaden the article over the course of today; using a minimum of source material from the subject's website, when necessary, as citations.

  • Hello MartinJamesHannon. One note on the copyright question, the material on the company's site explicitly claims copyright [1]. While it would seem logical that press releases are Public Domain, that's not usually true. They want them to be widely distributed, yes, but PD also allows changes, re-use, and pretty much anything else to be done with the text, which I'm sure they don't want. As such, that material can't be used here. I see you've removed most of it, so thanks. I'll give it a once-over for any lingering bits. CrowCaw 00:01, 5 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
