Hi, I created this article and am working to expand it. Please do not delete it as it is a start on a topic that is not covered on the web. There are many people with Norton Lectures in their biographies but no one knows what Norton Lectures aim at. Furthermore, the value of the lectures is notable, hence one should be able to have a list of these. Rares 20:16, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for starting it - I have been collecting a list of Norton Lecturers for some time and finally retrieved it from files only to find your form already here. This is an important lecture series on the arts; many of the resulting books have become very famous in their fields; and there is no complete list on the public web. I have added and corrected many of the entries given. Kalimac 11:26, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
Satyajit Ray
[edit]Hi, I found at http://www.satyajitrayworld.com/rayawards/awards.aspx that Satyajit Ray was invited to the Norton lectures in 1977. However this list does not show it. Can someone verify the authenticity of the claim and then add it? Thanks. ~ thinking-ape ~ (talk) 23:59, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
