Professor Booty Wild Style sample
I know the "Shut the fuck up Chico man" sample in "Professor booty" comes from Wild Style. Did "Mark on the Bus" also sample it, or did someone accidentally put the sample there instead of under "Professor Booty." - Peregrinefisher 01:12, 19 December 2006 (UTC)
- Good question. I know one thing. The samples are two of a kind. I'm very good with audio, and I heard the static change and the scratches stop. --BlooWilt 21:53, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
Last instrumental song?
"Professor Booty" isn't the last instrumental song on the album, "Namaste" is. --BlooWilt on the wikiprowl, later! 15:14, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
This is not punk rock
The article states,
"the Boys returned stylistically to their punk rock roots on Check Your Head, playing their own instruments for the first time on record since their early EPs"
Whoever wrote this, have you actually listened to the album? They might play their own instruments but the album is dominated by hip hop and funk. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 22.214.171.124 (talk) 14:28, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
I agree, one or two of the songs are influenced by punk but I don't think 'hardcore punk' needs to be a main genre. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 126.96.36.199 (talk) 22:21, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
