The first citation was <ref>(July 14, 1999) [[Xeni Jardin#_ref-2|Xeni Jardin posting on uk-netmarketing about the euro symbol]]</ref>. I don't know why this pointed to another Wikipedia article's reference — which wasn't correct. Based on the title, the URL should be: http://www.chinwag.com/uk-netmarketing/archive/archive-jul-1999/msg00143.shtml. However, this page only shows Xeni Jardin's response about the Euro symbol for typeface purposes, and has nothing to do with the founding of Chinwag.

The second citation was <ref>(Feb, 1999) [http://www.chinwag.com/uk-netmarketing/archive/archive-feb-1999/msg00150.shtml Animated discussion] between Velarde and a director of the [http://www.imrg.org/ Interactive Media in Retail Group]</ref>. Although this may be of interest to a reader, it has nothing to do with the founding of Chinwag. At best it could be placed in the "External links" section, but I'm not sure if it has enough relevance. Gmazeroff (talk) 16:07, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

@Gmazeroff
Would the more recent 2007-2008 references fix this issue? RCSCott91 (talk) 20:50, 20 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
