Page reinstated

[edit]

This page was deleted on a 6-3 vote in 2006. See discussion. I have reinstated it.

My thinking is that the publishing environment has changed in the years since. Chortle is now nearly 20 years old and is the recognised comedy website of record for the UK. It runs the Chortle Awards (which might be a candidate to merge into the recreated page) and is a vital part of the British arts media infrastructure. It is particularly active during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (which is where my interest comes in - I'm working on expanding that topic). The current page redirects to Laughter but most of the pages that link to it are actually attempting to reference the website. Plus one of the reasons given for a vote to delete was the lack of items in Google News but there are now plenty. Peaky76 (talk) 10:51, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Looking for parties that would be interested in my 1977 Audio interview of fledgling comic Robin Wiiams. 45 mins of him discussing his creative processes and experiences at the beginning of his career.⅝
