My original reasons for including the scehdule on this article, and the resons I reverted the removal of the schedule are as follows. The offical website doesn't provide entire schedule in one place, nor does it provide UTC times (only local). Also, the informatyion adds to teh artcle and is highly relevant. I also plan to add results when they happen. Tompw 13:53, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, but I don't understand your point at all. The official website might not provide the entire schedule, but 2006 Churchill Cup does, and it also provides all the results. The information is not very relevant to this article at all, as the topic of Churchill Cup should only be about the overview and history of the tournament, and maybe include prior winners of the tournament. There is no reason for including the schedule or the results, as, once again, 2006 Churchill Cup provides all of this - and, in my opinion, in a much better layout. I'm not going to delete the section and link to 2006 Churchill Cup as I did last time, because I don't want to start an editing war. But I really do hope you see my point and you make the necessary changes in order to avoid blatant repetition of two articles. Thanks. Leo 20:02, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
If you won't, Leo, I will. You're right - what Tompw might not be realizing is that when you make reference to 2006 Churchill Cup, you're actually refering to a Wikipedia article. Just like there is an article on the Olympics in general, and there is also an article on the 2006 Winter Olympics, specifically, this article is for the Churchill Cup in general, while the article 2006 Churchill Cup is about this year's particular incarnation. Could do with some updating

[edit]

Under "Concept", for example:

In 2005 Argentina have been selected as the invitation side, which should provide great entertainment for the fans and a true test of rugby for the founding Nations in the Churchill Cup. Beyond 2005 there is talk of further expanding the event to perhaps 6 Nations, with 3 invitational sides participating.

This is now over a year out of date! I don't know enough about the competition to edit it properly myself, but hopefully someone else does. Loganberry (Talk) 12:54, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
