Neutrality[edit]

As a CNS alum myself, I'm pleased to see CNS with a web presence. However, I am concerned that 1.) this article focuses less on the nature of the school, objective views of the academic programs, and educational data and focuses more on a few subjective opinions and recent controversy, and 2.) that the claims regarding notoriety are without third-party citation or reference.

It is critical that articles like this - particularly about academic institutions - meet the standards of quality research and do not lapse into advertising-like claims.

While I have no doubt of the quality of programs the Northstars offer, having benefited directly from them myself, I would like to see someone who is still associated directly with the school take the initiative to rewrite the article to include current, relevant information.

Please refer to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Schools for guidelines.

Article Rewrite[edit]

As a current student, I have tried to reorganize this article through a student's perspective. Although I realize it is nowhere near complete, I feel this article is at a good start. Smb6009 (talk) 04:50, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CNS only hosts grades 10 - 12[edit]

As of September 3, 2008, CNS High School only hosts grades 10, 11, and 12. There is a proposal looming that would move ninth graders to CNS, but this has NOT been approved yet. Smb6009 (talk) 21:30, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
