first settlement at mouth of the Brule river in cloverland was by a group left there from a boat to build a community
[edit]The community had a archalogical dig in the 1980's. I cut the wild hay land for the dig. At the time I cut it there was the base legs for a wind mill and wood post remains from maybe a barn.
