I was wondering if this article could be updated with perhaps more statistics and information about live-in relationships in general, why they are still looked at with suspicion by the Indian society, and the cultural factors and social norms which are at play. Also, what are the legal rights that women have in such relationships and what is the status of children born out of such relationships. I believe the case law could also be updated.
