Merge[edit]

The following discussion is closed and will soon be archived: outcome was: redirected

Absent sources which establish that the subject here (a plant/site operated by Intel Ireland) has notability (independent of the company that owns/occupies it), I propose to merge/redirect this title to Intel Ireland. As it stands, NONE of the sources here even mention the subject by the title we use here (not one of them) and so notability is not established at all... Support. This definitely would work better as a section of Intel Ireland and the industrial park itself doesn't seem notable enough for its own article.-FusionSub (talk) 10:19, 4 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Unless there are other thoughts, I'm going to go ahead and simply redirect this Collinstown Industrial Park title to Intel Ireland#Leixlip campus. While I may "transfer" some of the refs, I don't see the value in merging any content. As (a) the content at the target is already relatively complete and (b) the references we have here do not support this title/content. (For example, not one of the references appear to mention "Collinstown Industrial Park", a 1990 commencement date, the existence of a former stud farm, etc). Hence, if I merge the content, all I'm doing is "dis-improving" the target article. By introducing FV and other issues... Guliolopez (talk) 17:52, 14 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Resolved. As there has been no other input, I have gone ahead with the redirect. There was nothing to merge. As what limited content (and refs) there was, was already covered in the target. And the remaining content was unsupported (and the refs did not mention the subject or support the nearby text). Closing thread. Guliolopez (talk) 16:09, 17 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
