Notability

[edit]

This is not notable to have it's own article. Please read wp:notability (songs). If you can find sources to satisfy the inclusion criteria, then you can recreate the article with those. For now it should be a redirect. Also, linking to itunes to buy the song is considered spam. AdventurousSquirrel (talk) 00:27, 26 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:WikiGaGa, please stop reverting the edits without fixing the issue or at least explaining your reasoning. This is what the talk page is for. This is text from wp:notability (songs):

"Most songs do not rise to notability for an independent article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for the songwriter, a prominent album or for the artist who prominently performed the song...Notability aside, a separate article on a song is only appropriate when there is enough verifiable material to warrant a reasonably detailed article; articles unlikely ever to grow beyond stubs should be merged to articles about an artist or album."

Unless you can show that the song has "been ranked on national or significant music charts" or "won significant awards or honors" or "been independently released as a recording by several notable artists, bands or groups," then the song should remain a redirect.
