New (replacement) page created[edit]

I have created a new (stub) page at the suggested link Talk:Commands and Colors: Ancients/Temp. If this page is used to replace the one having copyright violation problems, I would also suggest that it be moved to the more proper name of Commands & Colors: Ancients. Cheers. --Craw-daddy | T | 16:18, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

 Done--DO11.10 (talk) 20:14, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What page had a copyright issue? I was going to expand the gameplay section to make it on par with the Twilight Struggle article. I wasn't going to quote the rules or anything, but I want to make sure I don't step on the toes of some previous copyright problem. --Csy108 (talk) 20:40, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Craw-daddy's version was moved, with its revision history, on top of the violating version. So we can't see what it was. Craw-daddy might be able to tell you, but just stay away from a direct copy of a copyrighted source, and you should be fine. (I'll bet the bad version was a direct copy of some GMT marketing material or some such.) --Rindis (talk) 21:10, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can't recall for sure, but I think that Rindis is correct in that the previous page was basically a direct copy of either GMT material or possibly a word for word copy of what was on BoardGameGeek. --Craw-daddy | T | 21:21, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. This article could really use some references, beyond the one I put in for the Origins Award. Mainly what I was trying to do was to demonstrate (some) notability for the game when I created the new page, but ideally more would be added (like reviews, etc). Cheers! --Craw-daddy | T | 21:50, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
