New Zealand?[edit]

I can't see any evidence that this species exists in NZ. I will try to confirm. --Tony Wills (talk) 09:52, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Apparently only found in NZ at border intercepts from Australia, certainly not endemic. Presumeably previous authors have confused this species with other skinks called 'common skinks'. No source for its presence in India either, so removed that text until an authorative reference can be found. --Tony Wills (talk) 20:54, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
