The subject highway designation fails to pass notability tests on its own as a topic separate from the existing bridge article; secondary state highway designations are not typically considered notable on their own. I'd strongly suggest improving that article first, and if it should ever be too large of an article, then we could look at splitting the topics apart into separate articles. So far what I'm seeing is a good improvement for the bridge article. If we're going to have separate articles for the bridge and the highway designation, the highway really needs to be independently notable from the bridge. Thank you Fredddie, I appreciate that. However, my larger point is that the redirection aficionados are doing the 'pedia no favors and need to follow normal merge process instead of mindlessly losing information to the void.
