Merge proposal

[edit]

There is a long-standing merge proposal between Corn grey leaf spot and Gray leaf spot. My understanding is that Gray leaf spot is a disease that affects a set of grasses (Poaceae) including maize. So, there is currently one article which covers the disease in maize (Corn grey leaf spot) and one that discusses the disease in the context of other grasses, like ryegrass, tall fescue, and St. Augustinegrass (Gray leaf spot). However, there is also some maize-related content on the current GLS article. While a merge would be reasonable, I suggest keeping them separate as the commercial issues related to maize are independently notable and the management is somewhat different. However, that would also require moving the maize-related material (2/4 references) to move from the GLS to the CGLS page, and then adding "about" hatnotes at the top of both in order to ensure that the pages are linked and the relevant scope is clear.
