[edit]For how regularly I regard the 'random article' function as a gimmicky superfluity, I will say that it has its moments.
At this particular juncture in my editing career, I've had virtually no experience with building up an article from scratch--most of the requisite legwork has already been undertaken for me, and my edits typically just apply a bit of polish.
This, however, is quite obviously a very rudimentary article--beyond the bare necessities, it's quite lacking in substance. The current article rating is appropriate, frankly.
To get some further editing experience under my belt, I've decided that I'll be taking this little gem under the bounteous wing of my tutelage. While I'm by and large exceptional when it comes to maintaining syntactical cogency--at least, so I'd like to think--I frequently engender a bit of morass when it comes to the more rarefied scripting commands and other copy miscellany that actually affords due structure to an article. As such, if you were to somehow happen upon this page, and were to somehow muster the magnanimity to give a damn about me, this article, or my 'plight', your help would be greatly appreciated--not that I even know what to ask for, yet. I suppose I'll go take a look at some dignified album articles in order to expand my frame of reference--this kind of topic typically falls well beyond my interest purview, as I'm sure you've already noticed.
Not to make any commentary upon the merit of 'albums', or whatever--it's not that I hate them, or even dislike them, really, it's just that my curiosity tends to be piqued by vastly different subjects. Ergo, I'm quite unfamiliar with this--I'm sure I'll overcome it, though. Perseverance, and all that.
Do I have anything else to say? I feel like I do, but, at the same time, I can't actually think like I do--that is, formulate the requisite words to actually convey something meaningful. No, sadly, I don't think I have any answerable questions to proffer. Moreover, the unanswerable ones wouldn't exactly be of a deeply philosophical variety.
What can I say? It's an intrinsic pining of mine to prevaricate--you know, just be gallingly circumlocutory. Well, perhaps not so much 'prevaricate' as 'prose'--I'm not exactly attempting to obfuscate anything, really. I may still inadvertently succeed in doing so, but, hey, so it goes, I suppose.
But I do actually have one--well, rather tangential and miscellaneous--question to pose:
If you want to italicize a word, do you always have to hit the button which generates the italics, or can you just type out the quotation marks? Also, even though I'm not British, I feel compelled to end this with the word 'cheerio'. So, cheerio. Ghost Lourde (talk) 16:11, 5 March 2015 (UTC)
