Hey, Cowboy Troy's not the only one mixing country with rap! I added a few examples, I have a few others but it gets a bit murky where to draw the line between country rap and talking blues country. See eminemmylou.com Isn't Nelly part country rap, look at some of his lyrics and hooks

Eminemmylou? Sounds like a joke...
Well, it's a jokey stage name for a real Brithop artist from Brighton, Sussex, England, UK. She's currently with Latest Records. She used her real name before adding Country to the mix (can't remember what that name was, though. Archola Sept 1, 2005 11:11 AM CDT

The Cadillac Zack mention section seems a bit long for one artist in the genre, a bit non-encyclopedic, and, lastly, not put together in sentence very well. 216.250.6.63 01:39, 25 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Eminemmylou is also known as Angi Mariani, a country songwriter who does country songs with rap and hip hop, and also does Eminem songs with a banjo such as The Way I Am, and has battle-raps with 50 Cent in the style of a hip hop Kitty Wells, with her feisty response rap, L.I.M.P. Her album Muthabanjo includes When Gram met Eminem, and a cover of Gloomy Sunday, the banned "suicide song" which she has turned into an anti-suicide anthem, with rapper, Legs MC. She says she's going to put country rap on the map. thelatest Sept 29, 2005 5:40 pm CDT

Pimp C

[edit]

Pimp C from UGK first originated "Country Rap"... I found it pretty weird to hear that it came from somewhere else when he had been boasting that style since '92... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.40.250.78 (talk) 20:19, 6 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Travis Shredd

[edit]

Do the somewhat earlier Travis Shredd and the Good Ol' Homeboys merit mention here, perhaps as a precursor? - Jmabel | Talk 20:25, 29 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
