New article

[edit]

I have created this new article to focus on narrow country roads, which often only have one lane. It was been seeded with some content from the lane article. PeterEastern (talk) 07:25, 5 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed merge of Backroad with Country lane

[edit]

These seem to be discussing the same concept. Rschen7754 21:44, 31 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Support, article should be merged, same concept and this article only has one (image) source. @Rschen7754 TheManInTheBlackHat (Talk) 20:38, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. These are different concepts in the US. For example, Many National Forest roads are backroads, but they aren't generally considered to be country lanes. On the other hand, a long dirt driveway could be considered a country lane, but is not a backroad. Libcub (talk) 02:56, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Closing, with no merge, given the uncontested objection and stale discussion. Klbrain (talk) 23:15, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
