Does anyone else see a problem with this sentence: Furthermore rare single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are common. Ealtram (talk) 17:12, 13 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Ealtram: Completely agree! Have fixed it. T.Shafee(Evo&Evo)talk 06:21, 8 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I think this article is a bit not up to date. Here are my edits: The leading section it is a bit confusing. I think it can be re organized and expressed as a one definition instead of breaking it apart in different categories. The current definition refers "coverage" as an exclusive term used in DNA sequencing when in reality is used in any of the next generation sequencing techniques. Some of the paragraphs are missing citation like the one that covers the rationale. This part is also confusing and can be edited by adding the importance of sequencing coverage. The article does not include the potential reasons of a poor coverage.---Scienceporium (talk) 02:36, 18 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
