The 'anti-*' quote in History from RWW
[edit]The quote from Fuentes sourced to Right Wing Watch has been pared down and outright removed a couple times now. So, here's the discussion on it. I think the quote should be left in full because the source has it in full. Furthermore, the rationale I've seen for paring down or removing the quote typically hinges on it being sarcastic. We can't ascribe intent to Mr. Fuentes that the cited source doesn't provide for us. Somers-all-the-time (talk) 23:09, 1 May 2022 (UTC)
- Remove - I think it should be removed, as it adds no substance to the article and the fact that sarcasm was in play here by Fuentes. REASONING: Why would it make sense for the platform to be anti-women and anti-black, when individuals who fit those descriptions, have been given accounts to stream by Fuentes himself? As for the the source, just because it is a primary source article, does not mean that it should be added in. The article does not take into account or mention the sarcastic manner in which Fuentes spoke of during the 'anti...' quote. It also does not add any intrinsic value to the article to further increase the knowledge to the reader about Cozy.tv. Lord A.Nelson (talk) 07:49, 3 May 2022 (UTC)
- it was brought to my attention that right wing extremist are trying to hide information about Nick.
- I’m deeply concerned about this, Lord Nelson fellow. Having looked at his account, it appears his articles favor right wing belief. He spends much too much time, commenting and creating pages about churches to have any kind of unbiased opinion on this matter.
- it is not only an intellectual, but completely ignorant to say that Fuentes cannot be both anti-black, and have black hosts. This is a common tactic used by the all right to obscure their malicious intentions. They often prop up people from within minority community and use them as mouthpieces to push regressive method. Log cabin Republicans are a good example of this. People like Chloe Cole are good examples of this.
- Not only am, I saying, the article should be added to the page, but I am suggesting an investigation into Lord Nelson’s personal life. I do not believe this person is skilled enough to be an editor here, and further, I do believe they are intentionally trying to embed a fascist message on this platform. Please present any evidence that can be gathered to fight my supposition. If no evidence can readily be gathered, I would suggest we look at this, Lord Nelson fellow, as an advocate of Fuentes, and as someone who has a personal steak and cozy TV having a nice wiki page.
- I bring this all together by stating: fascists protect fascists. What would someone gain by hiding notorious fascist Nick Fuentes is honest opinions about this platform?

Notability and unreliable sources
[edit]This version of the article cites several poor sources, and notability for cozy.tv specifically is not clearly shown by any sources. The obvious solution would be to trim content and then merge this with Nick Fuentes, since the few reliable sources currently cited describe this as his personal project. For example, The NME article just cites the Dot eSports article, which both clearly describe this as Fuentes' project. The [1] SPLC article goes in to slightly more depth, but it does so in an article which is specifically about Fuentes and his activity. The Chicago Tribune article is from 2021, and doesn't mention Cozy.tv at all, and neither does the DLive press release. Combining sources to imply a statement which is not directly supported by any single source is WP:SYNTH. The article needs reliable, WP:IS sources about Cozy.tv. If those sources do not exist, this article should be merged. Grayfell (talk) 01:56, 10 May 2022 (UTC)
