"Others use the Gherkin parser but..."
I think a little more explanation about Gherkin is warranted, or at least a link or resource explaining the relationship between Gherkin and Cucumber. Especially because this page on Cucumber is the official redirect for "Gherkin (language)". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 18.104.22.168 (talk) 20:10, 11 August 2015 (UTC)
I have re-added the notability tag as citations are currently limited to links promoting software manuals and a review by someone trying it out. These do little to establish the significant impact required. Fæ (talk) 18:52, 26 July 2011 (UTC)
- I've added a section on 'Popularity' with a couple of reference, as a start. Does this help? Mattwynne (talk) 14:13, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
We would like to have some assurance that you're not going to delete this page... Cucumber is an important and very active open source testing tool, its use is growing quickly, and there is a large and growing number of users. This small article is a placeholder that serves as a starting point for contributions. But contributors have now become skittish as there's apparently a threat of deletion. Can we have some assurance that the article will at least survive for a few months as we solicit contribution? Thanks.22.214.171.124 (talk) 17:10, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
- The notability tag is to encourage improvement and attract editors to improve sources and ensure the article addresses WP:GNG. It is not a deletion notice. Fæ (talk) 17:56, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
The calculator example is misleading and inaccurate. It would be better to have a reference that points someone to a real working example than this one Mattwynne (talk) 11:35, 17 October 2011 (UTC)Mattwynne
