Some reservations about the usefulness of this page (and its inclusion on the 'floating Buddhism table') at this point. Basically this is because we don't yet have articles on Buddhist art and music, and the present 'Buddhist cuisine', whilst featuring my very own pretty picture and a great deal of generalities, lacks depth and accuracy. I guess/hope these reservations will dimish as the pages linked to from here are improved... --prat 00:06, 2004 Apr 4 (UTC)

1) Positive points of the article. Very well elaborated. Touches pretty much all area of Buddhism. Each section is well explained without too much details. Also, good ton, very neutral point of view and formal ton in the writing.

2) Point to improve: I would say the lead section needs a bit more information. I will for instance, start it with a brief description of what Buddhism is, its origins, and so on. Although the article is not about an elaboration of the believe, I thought it will be interesting to do so. Also to elaborate more on the lead section, as it is an introduction, you could give important point on the different sections you covered. I know sometimes people just read the lead section and do not go further, so if you could elaborate on the different section in the lead section, it will be great.

3) Finally, very interesting article, but again I will focus on the structure of the article for instance : Try to group the different section in several headings rather than just one. You could for instance chose to group : Music, Festival and Art in a section called Buddhist Entertainment and so on Hananbechir (talk) 21:29, 21 March 2017 (UTC)

The article could try to study cultural influence. ex : Nirvana is a music band, the french Doc Gyneco hip hop composer "i want to reach nirvana",and so on ...

Cultural caracteristics of buddhism. They are not only different schools but different cultural positions of these schools :

• role of the sangha in the community
• cultural aspects of local sangha : traditions, clothes, ...

I was first sceptic about this article. Maybe is it a good idea, a way to propose many articles to the reader.
