Abandoned?

[edit]

Is this project now abandoned or will there be any future updates? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.164.129.11 (talk) 17:46, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

On 27th Feb 2011 the developer stated on the DVD Flick forum,"I'm not developing the program any longer. The source code is downloadable from the Downloads link on the main page. I suspect however that nobody wants to pick it up for some of the same reasons I no longer work on it; it's written in an old language, and isn't very well written to begin with." The forum continues to operate with regular contributions from users and the developer. Chris1515 (talk) 17:22, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Anyone know of any similar open-source or closed but free software with the same feature set that is still actively developed? 86.145.212.17 (talk) 20:05, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

My version is 3.1 released in 2019 and written by Alex Thüring.

It's a great software which I keep coming back to. Thanks to the developers! Maikel (talk) 18:52, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
