Should we say more about DAF-9 DAF-12 DAF-16 here[edit]

They don't have their own articles. They seem to be C. elegans genes & proteins ? unnecessary inline citation in the first sentence?[edit]

I don't think it's necessary to include the full citation (including both the original German and English translation for the book title(!)) from which the word "dauer" came. It makes it hard for readers to find where the body of the article actually starts. JoelleJay (talk) 02:07, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
