Last name
[edit]Which one of these is correct: Beriáin, Beriaín, or Beriain? All three have been used in the article. QueenBarenziah (talk) 08:00, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
-- Would someone write the names correctly? It is a Basque name in Spain. He is written like Miguel Induráin: Beriáin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Royalrec (talk • contribs)
- @QueenBarenziah: That's a good question. Spanish grammar rules would suggest it would be spelled "Beriaín", but at first sight the last name without an accent appears to be the most used instance, and it's also the spelling used in his official Twitter account. Also, like Royalrec said, there can be a different rule for accents in Basque. I have renamed the article without an accent and would propose to use the most widely used spelling. --NoonIcarus (talk) 15:48, 28 April 2021 (UTC)
