Merger proposal
[edit]Proposal to merge Daytime Shooting Star (manga) with Daytime Shooting Star for WP:MERGEREASONs 2 (overlap) and 3 (short text). Daytime Shooting Star is currently a stub and does not have enough information to warrant its own article and can be merged to Daytime Shooting Star (manga)#Live-action film, whose description is lacking in itself.
In addition, we shoud also avoid unnecessary disambiguation article titles once articles have been merged. lullabying (talk) 16:37, 9 July 2019 (UTC)
- Support merge, this is about as notable as the L DK film adaptation; not enough to warrant its own article. It said it ranked #5 on the box office, but that has yet to be confirmed. The manga is regarded as notable now: English version is releasing and is getting reviews. Rename the manga to Daytime Shooting Star as primary topic. Hello! I hardly ever go on Wikipedia any more and have no idea if I'm participating in this discussion correctly. I am perfectly fine with changing the name to just "Daytime Shooting Star." When I made the page originally, I named it "Hirunaka no Ryuusei" so I have no idea who ever changed the name of it tbh.

- @Suuzaku: Hey, there. I was the one who renamed the article because not only was it the English name for the manga in the Japanese version (as shown on the covers) but it's also the translated title used when Viz Media licensed the series for English. Currently we are seeing whether Daytime Shooting Star (the film page) should be merged with the manga page, as currently the film page is a stub and just parrots information from the manga page (see WP:WITHIN). lullabying (talk) 19:13, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
