Intakes
[edit]The Ghost version used in the Comet had a single air intake at the front, as opposed to the bifurcated (split) one used in the Vampire/Venom aircraft due to these aircraft's air intakes being in the wing roots. Presumably a different front bearing arrangement (wheelcase?) for the impeller/compressor would have been needed for the Comet. I assume the same single intake arrangement would have also been used on the Tunnan as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.68.219 (talk) 17:32, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
