Opening scene

I just corrected the following line in the 'Plot' section: "In the opening scene, Kyle was shown donating his widow's clothes to charity, where they ended up at Maddie's thrift store." I changed 'widow' to 'dead wife', since if she was a widow, she'd be alive (Kyle would be dead). However, I don't have this episode, so just wondering - is it clear in the opening scene that he's donating his dead wife's clothes, or just that he's donating a bunch of women's clothes?
