PROD tag[edit]

The Deeside Consortium article admits that it is a stub. It contains the words school (twice) and college. It contains four valid links giving the geographical area. What more context do you want at this stage of the article's development? -- RHaworth 09:08, 2005 Jun 12 (UTC)

  • Yes, it does say it's a stub. However I have no idea what it is about. Has the college taken over control of the three schools? Is it providing bulk purchasing for all 4 schools? Are they working together to develop courses? As it reads to someone who knows nothing about this, it is not encylopedic. Stubs still need to give some idea what they are about and how that makes them notable. A few words about the purpose of the Consortium should clear this up. I suspect that if someone completly explains the purpose of the Deeside Consortium, then the stub will no longer be needed since the article would be reasonably complete. It seems to be a true stub: it needs solid references and context, but it has claims of notability (responsibility over the schools in some way). That's why I removed the prod tag. tedder (talk) 00:51, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
