Project

How does this get to be part of Project Macintosh? Just because there was an iPhone app once? -- 89.204.137.98 (talk) 20:09, 30 August 2010 (UTC)

Seem the bot isn't smart enough. Easy to fix. Kbrose (talk) 02:07, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Availability

I came here to find out which countries Deezer is available in, but that information is not here. Seems this is essential information which should be added. 193.91.181.142 (talk) 14:00, 24 September 2011 (UTC) (Nick)

Clarification over user numbers

Hello,

Thank you for making the edits to numbers.

Would it be possible to clarify the active user / monthly subscriber description?

These are actually two separate figures, so the most accurate way to put it would be: Deezer has 5 million paid subscribers and 12 million monthly active users.Source: http://thenextweb.com/media/2013/11/06/deezer-debuts-new-mac-app-discovery-features-hits-5m-subscribers-12m-monthly-active-users/?fromcat=all

As mentioned above, I work for Deezer's PR team so don't want to make the edits myself in the interest of remaining unbiased. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.111.146.18 (talk) 14:43, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Updated Deezer features

Hi all, as I work with Deezer's PR team I don't want to make this edit myself in the interest of transparency. However, the page is now out of date as Deezer has updated its product. Details below:

On 6 November 2013, Deezer launched two new features built around music discovery, Hear This and Explore. Hear This provides daily personalised recommendations to each user based on the music they listen to, the latest releases from their favourite bands and the playlists created by their friends, as well as handpicked recommendations from Deezer’s music experts. Explore enables users to search for new music by region and genre, which means they can get access to the best new music from anywhere in the world, wherever they are.

As well as these two new features, Deezer announced it now has 5 million paid subscribers.

Could someone review and update the page?

Best

Neutrality

We have a whole article here that contains not one single word of criticism of Deezer, despite the fact that the service has been lambasted by certain music artists for supposedly destroying their livelihoods. By contrast, the article on Spotify covers these issues, and provides a much more balanced point of view. Sorting this out is not just desirable, it is a fundamental requirement of Wikipedia that we are neutral, and include criticism in addition to positivity. I have added a neutrality tag to the article, pending this issue being resolved. Skinsmoke (talk) 03:36, 17 December 2014 (UTC)

The article looks fine to me. There is clear mention of financial issues, technology issues, etc. If there are RS with artist complaints about Deezer, just go ahead and add these to the article! XavierItzm (talk) 18:45, 4 March 2015 (UTC)

Changes made February 2013

I work with Deezer's PR team and am adding a note here to be transparent - I am going to add links to the list of live countries, in addition to Deezer's expansion on to smart TVs and into new markets announced in 2013. RichardAppleton (talk) 15:31, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Hi RichardAppleton! Thanks for letting us know that you are connected with Deezer. When editing the article, remember to talk from a neutral point of view.

Deezer announcement 06/11/13

Hi all,

I work in Deezer's PR team, and just wanted to highlight a few changes to Deezer's numbers which were announced today.

Deezer now has 30 million tracks (the article currently states 25 million) There are now 5 million paying subscribers (the article currently says 4 million) Deezer is available in over 180 countries (the article currently says 182)

Could someone have a look at these suggestions? I don't want to edit myself in the interest of transparency.

Many thanks,
