I am so sorry, the Italian word "delitto" does NOT translate to the English "murder", not even idiomatically. Rather, its primary translation is to "crime", yielding the common English phrase "perfect crime". Edits pending unless someone objects ... I'll watch this space. Graz a tutti.

Not that it matters as the above edit seems to be from 2011… Yes, delitto does mean crime and is commonly used as a comical idiom for mini-infractions without a trace. But "delitto perfetto" is the Italian name for the movie "Dial M for murder", so most Italians of a certain age would unanimously equate it to a perfect murder, hence it's comical usage. --Squidonius (talk) 05:58, 10 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
