Interchangeble servers with PE VRTX[edit]

In the VRTX you can use the G12 servers M520 and M620. In article it is said these are NOT interchangeable between M1000e and Dell PE VRTX due to 'different firmare/bios' and 'different Mezzanine connectors'. Afaik there is only a software (firmware/bios) difference: mainly to support the shared Perc system to access the VRTX HDD's: the Dell PE VRTX Technical guide mentions:

Server modules Up to four PowerEdge M520 or M620 server modules specifically configured for the enclosure

it does NOT say that there is any (hardware) difference between them. As the claim that the blades are NOT interchangeable were made by anonymous contributor I added the Citation Needed template. So if anyone can clarify it and/or add the citation it would be very welcome. Tonkie (talk) 16:45, 28 July 2013 (UTC)
