Revenue
I've reverted the change to the revenue. it was originally in euro and was changed to USD. my reasons for reverting are as follows: 1) Deutsche bank is a european company 2) unless the USD amount is taken from an official source it shouldn't be displayed. using a currency converter to change to USD will miss-represent the revenue depending on the exchange rates at the time of conversion. Whitehatnetizen 04:46, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
Agreed, the currency should be the one they report/publish it their annual accounts, so Euros is the right choice. 12:46, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

I believe that the paragraphs concerning bone fragments, while interesting, does not belong in this article. At least not in such detail. An organization this old and vast deserves a better researched article.
Slogan
... (from "Opst mundlich Durtung aboern stimmst jendemd oeplaer auf") ... what is this? it's supposed to be a sort of german, but i am native and have really no clue what it might means .. maybe hoax? a source would be nice --15.203.169.126 09:50, 2 March 2007 (UTC)
- Whatever that was, it was nor english nor german language. (german slogan is "Leistung aus Leidenschaft" which is in fact the nearest possible verbal translation of the english slogan (and vice versa)). So a good idea to remove it. --212.202.49.206 22:28, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
Gewinnwarnung
September 11 NPOV
The last paragraph of that section is a blantant violation of NPOV, and the tense and tone are all wrong for an encyclopedia article. I can't fix it myself today, I'm just letting you all know. 137.150.105.17 (talk) 22:21, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
Golf Tournament
I searched for Deutsche Bank hoping to find info about the golf tournament. There is no link on this page and I think you people should put one in because people like me come to this Wikipedia searching for information about the Deutschebank Open golf tournament and this is the 21st century and I think we have a right to have a link to the golf tournament. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.92.24.112 (talk) 23:27, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
DE-Advertised
I changed some of the disgusting Ad language condensed sentences into a few words such as "based in prominent world financial hubs" to " based in fiance-hubs" Picer (talk) 17:07, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Huge drop in stock price in just one year needs some explaining
This article seems extremely favorable to this bank. However, the stock price has dropped from $130 to $33 (USD) as of today, in less than a year.Ykral (talk) 19:55, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
UPDATE: Not really, stock prices drops are comparable to other banks due to Financial Crises (160.83.57.38 (talk) 16:10, 28 July 2009 (UTC)) =
Update (about credit crunch)
The financial world has changed in the last year. I don't feel this page reflects that yet. I know events have happened quickly and I was wondering if someone with more knowledge than me could bring it up to speed.
Didn't Deutsche take over Dresdener or someone? --AnthonyBurgess (talk) 17:17, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Agree- there have been substantial Deutsche Bank staff lay offs in India and Russia, and an apparent refocusing of the business 2008 / 2009 that needs discussion.[user:Dextercat] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dextercat (talk • contribs) 09:49, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Abbey Life
The section on Abbey Life seems inappropriate. Much of the content reads as implicit criticism of Abbey Life's business and the period prior to 2007 is not relevant to Deutsche Bank as it pre-dates Abbey Life acquisition by DB. Abbey is a tiny portion of DB's global business so in any case would not merit so many lines of content. It is also wrongly placed within the subject headings. I would suggest it is substantially removed, even though properly researched and referenced content. The content could be moved to the separate wiki page on Abbey Life, where it would be more appropriate. Oinky (talk) 13:30, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
- I would say we should delete the entire three paragraphs. It's not relevant to this artice. cjl (talk) 14:25, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
- Actually... I've just done it cjl (talk) 14:28, 30 May 2010 (UTC)
on the paragraph about foreclosure on the US reservist's house
Hi all,
I just thought I would raise a discussion point on the section about the foreclosure on the reservist's house. I would also add my vote to the "it is irrelevant" argument (no I am not the IP address that removed the paragraph). I'd ask the following (without any accusatory tone): are all the other foreclosures mentioned in the NYT article added on wikipedia against the other banks articles? if not, then why is this one special? also: it is an international bank headquartered in Germany. why does one foreclosure in the US have anything to do with an article such as this? Is there any precidence to add every legal battle between banks and their customers to wikipedia articles?

Cleanup needed
The lower sections in this article need a lot of cleanup, need refs, need specific times instead of relative statements like "today" and "last five years," and need removal of WP:PEACOCK bragging about leadership and innovation. Pinetalk 10:45, 19 February 2012 (UTC)
Scandals
Where I can find in wikipedia the informations about the scandalbank? In December 2012 the bank gets high potential visitors in kind of 40 Police Cars in full Equipment in the Headquarters of Frankfurt Germany. The Bankster/Gangster Bank hadn't paid taxes for CO-2 Certificates to the German state. In every Newspaper you can find Informations about the legal controversies.
Deutsche Bank - Passion to Perform - Made in Germany (R)
- That probably should be included. However is is very recent ongoing event, so it might make sense to wait for a while until more detailed information is available.
- Also the Schneider scandal which involved the German bank (de:Jürgen_Schneider_(Bauunternehmer)#Schneider-Affäre) seems to be missing. That was a major scandal and PR blunder for the Deutsche Bank in 20th century in Germany that ven made it into a movie. All in all I somewhat agree with the complaints above that the article currently might appear a bit too sanitized.--Kmhkmh (talk) 19:48, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
