Discussion

  • Is there room for a comment about the reliability of the cameras? All of the Disc cameras I ever owned (all Kodak) died horribly with the motor running out of control, but I don't know if there was a general problem with that or not. Haikupoet 02:11, 1 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • I understand that part of the appeal of the format is it permitted the shutter release to be in front of the camera, rather than on top of it. Kodak engineers had discovered that a large share of the prints developed showed vertical camera movement - not surprising for light consumer cameras with slow shutter speeds. Placing the shutter button in front permitted the camera movement to have less effect on the final print. Measure for Measure (talk) 19:51, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
